Gunnison - Crested Butte Community Calendar

The Community Foundation of the Gunnison ValleyGunnison-Crested Butte Tourism Association,Gunnison Country Times, the Gunnison and Crested Butte Chambers of Commerce, Crested Butte Mountain Heritage Museum, Crested Butte Center for the Arts, Gunnison Arts Center, Western State College, Crested Butte Mountain Resort and various other local media are excited to present the Gunnison – Crested Butte Community Calendar!

The goal of this valley-wide project was to create a centralized, online calendar to serve as a hub for event information and to promote up-to-date Gunnison Valley event information that will be of interest to both visitors and residents. Our vision for the online community calendar is to become the central location for inputting, reviewing and disseminating event information for the Gunnison Valley.

Fall Festival

Fall Festival is a pairing of two Crested Butte favorites – Beer & Chili. Breweries will be on hand with their finest brews, which will take the heat off the chili prepared by Crested Butte locals.

This event brings hundreds of attendees to sample beer & chili while listening to music & enjoying the scenery of beautiful Crested Butte. This year, the featured acts are special guest 
DREW EMMITT (of Leftover Salmon) with Sol’ Jibe and Mountain Standard Time! Last year’s festival had an attendance of 1000+ and we expect this year to be even bigger and better....more.



Networking

The Chamber holds two types of events aimed at providing our members with networking opportunities—Monthly Business After Hours and Quarterly Business Breakfasts.

Business After Hours (BAH) are held one Thursday evening a month, from 5-7pm, and are hosted by a local business. 
BAH provide our members with an opportunity to visit a place of business, learn about the business, and network with other businesses and organizations. Food and drinks are provided.

Quarterly Business Breakfast are held one a quarter on a Thursday morning from 7:30-9am, and generally have an educational topic or informational session, in addition to networking time.


Sidewalk Sales

The Chamber of Commerce hosts two Sidewalk Sales every year, during Memorial Day and Labor Day Weekend. This is a great opportunity to pick up end of season bargains—winter or summer!

The Sidewalk Sales take place Friday-Monday of the holiday weekend, from approximately 10am-8pm.
