Tickets start at $25 in advance and $30 day of.  Tickets can be purchased online here.
The festival will begin at Noon and end at 4 pm.
You do not have to be 21 to enter. However, your ID will be checked at the door and any attempt to consume alcohol under age will result in immediate removal from the premises.
This is primarily a beer festival, but kids of all ages will be allowed. In fact, children under 12 are free. If you do bring your children please be aware that this is a crowded event where alcohol is being served. Please be responsible.
You will not be allowed into this event without an ID so whatever you do, don’t forget it! This event is outdoors and it can get very hot. Sunscreen and a water bottle are recommended.
Yes! Safe Ride will be leaving Gunnison in the morning before the event and in the afternoon when it ends. The RTA bus also goes back and forth from Gunnison to Crested Butte three times a day. The Mountain Express bus also runs several times a day from the town of Crested Butte up to Mt Crested Butte.
Yes. For an extra $5 you can reserve a collectible souvenir glass when you purchase your ticket online. This will be your glass for the beer tastings. There will be 1200 glasses available, so get there early to guarantee you get a glass or purchase a ticket in advance and a glass will be set aside for you.
The Chili and Beer Festival LOVES designated drivers. We will be offering a chili only ticket for $15 that you will be able to buy the day of. This ticket will get you into the festival, but you will not receive the collectible souvenir beer glass. Also, even though you will not be drinking, you still need to bring your ID to get into the event!
There is free parking in Crested Butte at the 4-Way Stop with a free bus to the mountain. There is also free parking in the lots at the base of Crested Butte Mountain Resort.
This event has plenty of volunteer positions! Email us if interested.
Yes. A 10′ x 10′ vendor booth will cost $200 and is a great way to reach the thousands of festival-goers. Email to get vendor information.
Yes! The festival is rain or shine, so if you’re coming from out of town, don’t forget to pack a rain jacket!
Yes. You will be able to re-enter the festival if you still have your wristband on. However, your ID will be checked again upon reentry.
No, sorry, dogs aren’t allowed at Chili & Beer.
