Powerade Pinnacle gO Bike Series
Time- 5:45 pm
Location- CBMR base area
Presented by Griggs Orthopedics, this series encourages competitors to gO ride every Wednesday with a FREE regional recreational racing series at the Evolution Bike Park.
Created in 1998 by Crested Butte Mountain Resort, the popular race series is geared for fun and competition, from beginner to expert riders. The races consist of varying lengths and difficulty to challenge riders of all abilities in either Cross Country or Downhill disciplines. The races take place on Wednesday evenings at 5:45 pm, with registration from 4:30 – 5:15 pm at Butte 66. The Youth Pump Track lap race will be offered for kids ages 6 and under at 5:15 pm. The Youth Pump Track is designed to give children the opportunity to compete like their parents in a positive and fun environment.
Competitors enjoy FREE food, Landshark Lager and raffle prizes after every race at Butte 66. Downhill competitors also receive a complimentary twilight ticket for the race!
Summer Solstice Party
Ride your bike to the top of the Painter Boy Chairlift for the second annual Summer Solstice Party at the Umbrella Bar at Ten Peaks. Gather with friends and family and soak in unparalleled views, great food and live music! Tickets may be purchased at the Adventure Center in advance for $40 and include a summer picnic dinner, a complimentary glass of wine or draft beer and live music! The party starts at 7 pm.

Location- Chamber of Commerce Parking Lot – 6th and Elk
Price- Free for the first 15 participants, $30 after.
Sign up for a clinic lead by the gO orthopedics team. There will be instruction for beginner, intermediate and advanced riders. Bring a bag lunch. Instruction will be done on trails accessible from town. Reconvene at 3pm for a free beer!
Historic Crested Butte Mountain Bike Tour
Location: The Crested Butte Mountain Heritage Museum – 331 Elk Ave
Price – $8 for Bike Week participants $10 – for general public
The Crested Butte Heritage Museum is offering a tour “geared” directly to participants and friends of Crested Butte Bike Week. Come and learn fun filled facts about the start of mountain biking in CB, the history of the founding of the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame, our relationship with Marin County, CA and much more. Chainless World Championships
Location- Registration @ Chamber Parking Lot (6th and Elk)
After Party- Corner Parking lot of 1st and Elk Avenue
The Chainless World Championships are like no other race on the face of the planet! Race your fastest townie 7 miles down Kebler Pass to a killer party in the heart of downtown Crested Butte. Do not forget to wear your finest costume and remove that chain!
10-12 pm Registration and bike drop off
2:30-3:30 pm Participant shuttle (NO open alcohol containers are allow on the shuttles)
4:20 pm Race start
CB Devo Slow Race Championships!
Time: 3 pm
Location: same as above
How slow can you go!? Test your inner turtle and be the last to cross the line! Kids of all ages are encouraged to inch their way to the finish line and take home the gold! Lots of prizes, too!

Trails in Motion Film Festival
Time- doors open at 7 pm; films start at 7:30

Fat Tire 40
Time- 8am Race Start
Location- Town Park (beside Center for the Arts)
The Fat Tire 40 is a serious mountain bike race. Forty miles and it’s almost all on singletrack. This isn’t one of those dirt road races masquerading as a mountain bike race. It’s the signature event of Bike Week, on Saturday morning, and there are plenty of good spots for watching and cheering on the racers.
The $75 fee includes the race, dinner, beer, and a FREE ticket to the Johnny Dynell concert hosted by the Crested butte Music Festival. We have men’s and women’s categories, both with Open/Pro and Recreational Divisions.$5,000 cash purse split between Men and Women’s Elite Categories! Group Divisions: U-21, 21-39, 40-49, 50+
Skills Clinics w/ CB Devo coaches
Time: 10 am
These will be held at CBCS parking lot and we’ll also have clinics for you parents with IMBA certified instructors, Phil and Cooper Ott who are both absolutely AMAZING!! No matter how old you are, there’s always something to learn.
Bridges of the Butte- Adaptive Sports Center
Time- 12 pm Saturday-12 pm Sunday
The Thirteenth Annual Bridges Of The Butte 24-Hour Bike Tour presented by Bank of the West loops through downtown Crested Butte, meandering across the town’s bridges. Sign up solo and brave the bike seat for all 24 hours, or put together a team of your friends and tour the town in shifts as day turns to night. Tune up your townie bicycle and find a fabulous costume, because this is one townie takeover you don’t want to miss. Three hundred riders participate in the annual tour held the last weekend of June. Proceeds from the event go to the Adaptive Sports Center.

Fun Ride w/ CB Devo Parents
Time: 2-5 pm
Race “pre-ride” for those entering the Crested Butte Junior Wildflower Classic XC races on Sunday; groups and ride will be based on age/ability.
Price: $5 suggested donation/athlete that will be donated to the Crested Butte Land Trust.
Johnny Dynell – Crested Butte Music Festival
Location- The Mirror Palace, Mt. Crested Butte
Price- Free for Bike Week Participants | $20 for Non-Participants
This year Crested Butte Bike Week will be partnering with the Crested Butte Music Festival to present Johnny Dynell!
Famed NYC DJ and club impresario Johnny Dynell (Elton John’s Oscar Party DJ) leads a night of masked dancing. Johnny’s first single, “Jam Hot,” in Fatboy Slim’s #1 hit, “Dub be good to me,” and the term “jam hot” is now featured in the Urban Dictionary.

Mountain Manners Leave No Trace Class
Time: 9 – 1
Do you love riding the trails but don’t know if you’re “doing it right” from an ethical standpoint? Taught by Molly Murfee and based on the Leave No TraceTM tenets, this class gives you the low-down on low-environmental impact travel biking through wild, fragile places.
