                                              Group dining and lodging specials at 8,885 feet for $88.85

                                              Residents and visitors alike will delight in the second annual Crested Butte Restaurant Week June 3-10, 2011, highlighting local eateries and lodging establishments in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Crested Butte is situated at an astonishing 8,885 feet above sea level, wherediners and overnight guestswill revel and relax to their hearts’ content for the price of $88.85 for meals or lodging.

                                              Crested Butte is renowned for its superb restaurants and quaint, historic bed and breakfasts, inns, lodgesand hotels that are surrounded by pristine National Forest and stunning mountain views. Dining is exquisite, as noted by Michael Carlton of The Denver Post, "Crested Butte has more fine restaurants per capita than any other town in the U.S."
                                              Participating restaurants will offer multi-course dinners for $88.85 for a party of four, or $22.21 per person. Multiple courses will be offered on every menu. Restaurants may offer several choices, and some may include wine or other beverages in the fixed price. Restaurants will also have their usual a la carte menusavailable at regular prices. Establishments that do not serve dinner willprovide multi-course lunch promotions for$8.85.

                                              Special lodging rates will be availableevery night throughout Crested Butte Restaurant Week starting at $88.85 per bedroom, per night.

                                              A list of participating lodging establishments, restaurants and menus will be published at the end of April at www.crestedbutterestaurantweek.com.Crested Butte Restaurant Week is being presented by the Crested Butte/Mt. Crested Butte Chamber of Commerce, the Gunnison-Crested Butte Tourism Association and The Crested Butte News.

                                              Crested Butte Restaurant Week FAQ’s
                                              Why $88.85? Crested Butte sits at an elevation of 8,885 feet above sea level. Incorporating our elevation into Crested Butte Restaurant Week promotions creates an event unique to our landscape.

                                              Must I order from the fixed-price Crested Butte Restaurant Week menu? No. Participating restaurants will also offer their regular fare at regular prices in addition to the fixed-price Crested Butte Restaurant Week menu.

                                              What if I have a party of 2 instead of a party of 4? Restaurants will honor each diner at the fixed price of $22.21 per person, not including tax and gratuity.

                                              Are tax and gratuity included in the fixed price? No. Tax and gratuity are not included in the $88.85 promotion.
                                              Are wine and beer included on the fixed price menu? Sometimes. All participating restaurants will offer a multi-course menu that will likely include an appetizer, entrée and dessert. Some restaurants may include wine or beer as well. Participating restaurants will also offer their regular fare at regular prices in addition to the fixed-price Crested Butte Restaurant Week menu.
